Gabriel Barredo’s Opera – Silverlens Galleries

IMG_3507Caught Gabriel, or as I call him, Gabbi (without his knowledge), Barredo’s show, Opera on its last day. — sorry too much ,,

Didn’t get to take too much photos or notes because once you step in the place (the exhibition occupied all 3 spaces of Silverlens Galleries), you are overwhelmed with everything you can see, hear (and touch — just kidding. that is a no no).

The inner hoarder in me got inspired to keep more stuff. “It’s for my future show” I’ll told myself.

I was a little anxious too because I was up next. Not the whole of Silverlens but the thought of having to follow a show this of magnitude was a little overwhelming.

Mantra of the day : Important thing was that a.) the owners liked it b.) my dad approved — Check to both

Got to talk with the artist as we were about to leave. He said some things that made me feel better and even scored an invite to his studio. Yey!

Here are other pictures of the show (all taken with my Iphone — project get a legit camera is in progress) :
