Been dreading doing this post because there is a lot to.
The actually experience was pretty taxing because the goal was to finish within a day but I enjoyed myself. The cafe was my safe space.
Plus I really didn’t take down notes because 1. there was no time 2. im a nincompoop and thought only of the final destination : cafe.
CAUSE MY FAMILY IS CRAY (for art hehe) — we went to Gagosian Gallery pre Art Fair.
I was trying to get a picture with no people, but they just kept coming
I used to want to do art with REALLY THICK paint like this then I got frustrated cause I used acrylic which often times dries flat.
Well it’s never too late, ain’t dead yet.
In the same building was Lehmann Maupin
There was an exhibit by Alex Prager
I saw this in a book / poster somewhere and was exhilarated to be able to see it in the flesh.
Now, how to become an extra in those shoots.
OK. was ready for a coffee break but —
ART BASEL TIME!
(because no one acknowledged my coffee)
First stop was the Artinformal booth featuring Nilo Ilarde

It’s a movement activated video. Pretty cool — was the opposite as I was clapping and stomping around to view the show.
